So whether you're looking for a personal trainer that's sensitive to your needs, or if you are looking to take advantage of natal hypnotherapy and birth preparation or baby massage, Apple Tree Wellbeing provides it all in perfect surroundings for small and relaxed groups, providing some precious 'quiet time' for you and your baby to enjoy together.

Apple Tree Wellbeing has taken particular care to create a small, friendly and exclusive training suite that can cater for both expectant and new mums. Expectant mums can find it difficult to find someone sensitive to their special training needs. New mums often discover it is not always easy to find somewhere to exercise where they can take their bump or new bundle of joy, and enjoy a relaxing rest and drink with friends afterwards.
We offer a selection of training ideas:
- 1:1 personal training
- Small group personal training (maximum 3 people) - train with friends, or join a small group and make some new acquaintances

These are specially designed yoga classes to suit women's changing bodies and needs. Sessions are run by Gemma, an experienced yoga and a Birthlight pregnancy yoga teacher, who is also a mother of two.
Classes combine:
- relaxation
- breathing techniques
- gentle yoga postures / sequences.Yoga is a gentle safe means of keeping toned and supple, without strain, in pregnancy; it helps to enhance your health, sense of well-being and can alleviate aches and pains; prepares your body and mind for labour and birth; can help maintain energy levels, reduce stress and aid sleep, both pre and post-natally; and it can help you to develop an early bond with your growing baby.
Suitable for women from 14 - 40+ weeks of pregnancy and for all levels of fitness. No previous experience of yoga is necessary and it's a great chance to meet other mums-to-be.
Classes are kept small so that everyone can be given individual attention.

Baby Massage

I'm very excited to be offering baby massage and baby yoga classes. They can offer mums an oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle of every day life to "just be" with their little ones.
Everything is provided, including mats, towels and cushions.
I'll teach you techniques to settle and soothe your baby. Sessions include discussions on a variety of parenting topics such as feeding and weaning, sleep and crying. We are passionate about empowering mums (and dads too!) through our classes with the skills to massage baby throughout infancy and into childhood.
I am really looking forward to welcoming you and your little one to my classes.

It is important that if you plan to become pregnant you have your blood glucose levels under control. There are risks to both mother and baby if diabetes is not properly monitored before and during pregnancy. You need to liaise with your Diabetes Team if you are pregnant or if you plan to become pregnant, they will advise you on medication and diet.
Maintaining good health and a sensible weight prior to and during pregnancy can help to reduce health risks to both mother and baby.
Exercise and a healthy diet will help you lose weight before you conceive.
Following a programme of physical activity during pregnancy will help to keep your blood glucose under control.
